External Posting Title Sr. Site Quality Control Planner Job Description Biogen is looking for a Senior Site Quality Control Planner at the Hillerød site. You will work in a multifunctional unit responsible for the global QC plan of release and stability testing and operations to support Commercial and Clinical supply. The Sr. Site QC Planner will typically work in spaces that require using analytics and systems-based approaches to ensure we are maximizing testing, resources, and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI). You will work in close cooperation with the QC laboratory management and staff at dedicated site and other Site Planners based in the US. Your Main Responsibilities • Build, implement, and maintain the laboratory scheduling software (SmartQC). • Responsible administrator of SmartQC for the site which will require vendor interface, troubleshooting the software, adding new tests and analysts to the system, train new analysts, etc. • Collaborate with QC Labs, Manufacturing, and Stability to ensure release and stability testing timelines and expectations are consistently met. This includes providing visibility to expedited testing requests for both the labs and customers. • Provide workload visibility to testing labs based on short and long term production from Manufacturing and Global Operations Planning • Balance and streamline workload test allocations among analyst across various labs and improve service levels Location Hillerod, Denmark Job Category Quality Requisition Number 25858BR Qualifications Qualifications Professional skills A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with at least 4 years pharmaceutical industry experience preferably in laboratories. Good project management skills and former scheduling experience is highly desirable. Complexity of problems or procedures encountered will require prioritization and decisiveness to resolve issues. Personal skills The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and the ability tosolve problems of unusual complexity with a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Attention to details and good interpersonal skills are also critical in this role. In addition to strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to speak and write English fluently.
