Can you identify customer, application and technology trends and convert them into new products? Then you could be the Technology Manager we are looking for in Danfoss Heating Solutions. Reporting to the Business Area Director, you will become part of a team of highly technical and creative individuals, all dedicated to identifying new ways to use current technologies and/or application of emerging technologies seeking to substantially increase customer value. Revolutionary R&D in an innovative environment Your mission is to convert trends into new products, thereby helping increase the innovation rate and reduce Time-to-Market for new products/solutions in our business unit. As such, you will be one of the key players we rely on to further develop our unique hydronic floor heating applications, which involves concept design, theoretical calculations, testing of prototypes, development of variants and creation of brand new product platforms. This implies that you deep dive into selected markets and applications clarifying customer needs and product requirements as well as drive and mature new product development and then hand over to product management for final execution. There will be ample opportunity for personal and professional development in this position, and in many respects you will be able to steer your development in the directions you find motivating and interesting. Creative, customer oriented engineer driven by innovation and ambition As a minimum you have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, industrial design or electronics engineering and you have a strong understanding of the HVAC segment working with heating and/or cooling applications for residential properties and industrial and commercial building. Your track record shows some years’ experience from concept and detail design to meet customers’ needs. Here your personal contribution and drive for creating innovation is crucial.
