If so, we offer an exciting position as Statistical Specialist in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development.

About the department
The job is in CMC Process & Training Support, a department in CMC Development responsible for LEAN, Training support, statistical support as well as process governance across CMC Development.

As part of Novo Nordisk’s R&D family, CMC Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world.

We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials which is a complicated journey that requires about 10 years of dedicated work in CMC Development.

The position
As a Statistical Specialist in CMC Development you support the development of products, manufacturing processes and analytical methods together with four competent statistician colleagues. You cooperate with colleagues of other areas of expertise across the organisation to solve their problems using statistical methods. Good solutions balance business needs and quality requirements, and close collaboration with stakeholders is needed to ensure this.

You can look forward to a broad variety of tasks. In particular, you deliver and present statistical solutions in a clear language and ensure that they are used as intended. You develop and teach courses and workshops in statistical topics. You may also work in improvement projects across CMC Development. The statistical tools are often linear mixed models, design of experiments, general explorative statistics and statistical process control.

You are part of the function CMC Support that delivers specialised support to CMC Development. We are four statisticians in the department. We value creativity, innovation and the ability to work with people of different backgrounds, and focus on standardising and optimising work processes. You have ample opportunity to develop your professional and personal skills as well as influencing your job.

Qualifications
You have a strong background in Mathematical statistics as Master's in Science or Ph.D. in Statistics or Engineering. As a person, you are by nature curious and interested in other scientific disciplines. You attend to details and are systematic in your work, while also focusing on how to simplify complex matters so as to communicate clearly with other scientists, management or regulatory authorities. You work independently and with high engagement. You have experience with SAS for Windows and maybe also experience with SAS JMP. Lastly, you speak and write English and preferably also Danish fluently.

Preferably you have 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record.
