Job Description
Do you want to be a part of the journey towards pricing excellence in Danfoss Power Solutions? Can you align on price strategies and provide guidance on strategic pricing for our sales force? If so, then you might be the Pricing Analyst we are looking for.
This position is located in either Nordborg, Denmark or in Wroclaw in Poland, and you will report to the Senior Director for Work Function (WF) Motor Sales.
You will become part of a high-performing team supporting our global sales organization with pricing strategies and all price-related matters within Work Function. Further you will become a part of the team supporting the business unit (BU) management with sales and profitability related reporting.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Price analysis on regional and cross regional accounts and market segments
- Development and provide pricing guide lines based on market and customer segmentation based on business unit profitability and growth goals
- Prepare and recommend authority levels for price approval processes
- Work with sales on customer pricing strategies
- Work with sales and product development on pricing strategies for new products and solutions
- Develop global list prices and structure for products in area of responsibility
- Support related tools and processes as well as the annual price update process
- Support development and application of value selling materials and tools from commercial point of view
- Work with the sales team and pricing teams globally on pricing related processes and documentation and share best practices and standards
- Run and analyze reports related to overall/specific price and margin situation
- Create sales reporting within the BU sales
Customer oriented thinking and sterling communication skills
You have a relevant diploma or Bachelor’s Degree and/or some relevant business experience from the B2B industry. You are used to working with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Knowledge and experience with SAP, SAP Business Objects and Salesforce is a strong plus. You have a good understanding of numbers, and you are willing to learn the financial ratios used in understanding and running a business that meets profitability goals.
As a person, you have a quality mindset and a desire to deliver results on time. You thrive in an international environment and you have strong communication skills. Last, but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
