- Strategic Planning - Denmark - Bagsværd Do you have solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strategy project management and process experience, then you could be our new Strategy Project Manager. About the department Corporate Strategy is responsible for the Novo Nordisk corporate strategic planning process and ad hoc strategy projects for Executive Management. This includes analysis and execution of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and handling of Novo Nordisk’s equity investments. As our new Strategy Project Manager you will join the Corporate Strategy team, which consists of seven dedicated employees located in Bagsværd. The job You will be part of the team driving the strategic planning process, a broad-spectrum process comprising everything from analysis of financial data, organising cross-functional workshops to consolidation and formulation of the strategy document. You will assume project management of specific strategic assignments. On ad hoc basis you will drive or support the execution of projects with strategic importance to Novo Nordisk, both with respect to the organic strategy and to external opportunities such as mergers, acquisition and divestment opportunities. The strategic planning process is a comprehensive process that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain the overview during pressure in a multifaceted and busy organisation. You will be in regular dialogue with senior management, thus you should be capable of and feel comfortable working and interacting with all organisational levels. You will gain a broad business understanding empowering a number of career opportunities in a global perspective. Qualifications You have a solid business understanding combined with at least 6 years of industry relevant experience in working with strategy either within the industry or from a consulting or analytical / financial institution. You must have good understanding of both financial and pharmaceutical development. You are recognised for your strong analytical, strategic and financial skills. You easily prepare overviews while highlighting relevant strategic considerations. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and across geographies, therefore strong communication, collaboration and relation building skills are critical qualifications. You thrive in a busy environment, bring a can-do attitude, and you maintain a healthy sense of humour, also when the pressure is high. You are a team player, but also enjoy working independently.
