For our Technology Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a bright structural engineer who can be a further enrichment of our Nacelle team. The canopy team is part of nacelle department and is responsible for the sub-module canopy which consists of fiberglass and steel canopies, service cranes, canopy support structures and walk and service areas. What are my responsibilities? As a structural engineer you will be working with advanced FEA (Finite Element Analysis) in the canopy team. You will be working with R&D tasks and your stakeholders will be CAD designers, generator, tower, loads and control, the project organization, sub-suppliers and test department. Your assignments will include the following points: · Advanced FEA · Primarily steel, aluminum and glassfiber components · Loads and validation of the canopy structure · Reviewing documentation from sub-suppliers · Certification · Field data and validation · Structural integrity of the canopy structure What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a master or a PhD in structural or mechanical engineering and have experience with FEA · You have minimum 3 years of relevant working experience · You possess high analytical skills and have a strong physical understanding · You are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams · You are structured and innovative and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable · You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both written and spoken English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
