The Wells department is searching for an independent and ambitious Student Assistant for our Cost Control team in Copenhagen. The team is collectively responsible for the cost aspects of wells drilled in the Danish Business Unit division of Mærsk Oil & Gas A/S. We Offer We offer a flexible and informal environment in a small team of 6, where we value humbleness and teamwork, but also offer you the opportunity to shape your daily tasks. This position will give you a chance to interact with different stakeholders, including vendors, operations and legal teams. You will furthermore have the opportunity to get an understanding of business operations within the oil industry and experience the heart of the business. We expect you to work around 15-20 hours per week and we are flexible with regards to how you can distribute your hours throughout the week. Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities include: • Invoice control based on contract agreements • Preparation Service Purchase Orders and ensure proper approval of commitments prior to forwarding them to contractors • Ad hoc finance and administration tasks Who we are looking for As a person you are collaborative and a self-starter. You enjoy working with systems and processes and have a business orientated mindset. As you will be working in close corporation with colleagues you are a team player. We expect you to be service-minded, constructive, responsible and committed. Furthermore you will need the following qualifications: • Currently studying BSc or MSc, at DTU with a minimum of 1,5 years left of you education • Basic knowledge of MS Office package • Proficiency in English, verbally as well as in writing, is a prerequisite. • Good communication skills • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and maintaining overview • Goal oriented, and intent on achievement • Fast learner Last application date: 31 May 2016.
