Student Assistant for Novozymes’ M&A team Novozymes’ Mergers & Acquisitions and Post Merger Integration team (M&A) is looking for a Student Assistant to join the team. You will be collaborating with experienced colleagues within business development and finance across the globe contributing to enhancing your business and financial understanding within the field of M&A. By joining the M&A team you will have the possibility to enjoy a steep learning curve, and develop a strong network within our global organization. Your role as Student Assistant with Novozymes’ M&A team is focused on valuation, market research, financial, as well as, strategic analysis that form a key part of the decision making process relating to acquisitions. In addition, ad hoc tasks will arise on occasion. In this position you need to have: Strong analytical and financial skills along and a keen interest in and knowledge of M&A and valuation You are either in the first year of your master studies, e.g. cand.merc. FIN/FIR/AEF/FSM, cand.polit/econ or similar, or you are in the final year of your bachelor studies and planning to start your master in the field of finance after summer You are among the very best in your year; you have personal drive and are able to work independently Since we are working in an international environment and have English as our corporate language, it is expected that you have very strong English communication and writing skills Furthermore, it is important that you are a well experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint and have a great sense of detail The M&A team is part of Novozymes’ Business Development arm and has a mission of delivering significant new businesses to Novozymes. The team has end-to-end responsibility for the entire M&A process from screening for candidates through closing and subsequent integration.
