Job Description

Are you a current student seeking to combine your studies and theoretical knowledge with practical experience from an international, high performing energy organization?
And, are you interested in kick-starting your career playing a key role in project management and furthermore, gain insight in Project Management Office (PMO) of the oil and energy industry?
If yes, then this student assistant position at Total Exploration & Production (E&P) in Esbjerg might be your match!

Key Responsibilities
Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 15-20 hours per week, you are responsible of managing and shaping your daily tasks.
You will be given a clear area of responsibility which to a certain extent will depend on your experience, personality and educational background. There will be routine tasks, and opportunities to be involved in different tasks across the team.
 
This particular role sits within the Projects Team within the Information Solutions team working with the Head of IT Projects, and is very much focused on Project Management and Coordination, and using business management skills to collaborate and work with other stakeholders within the wider team.
 
Your weekly tasks will involve:

Project Management

• Support the head of PMO IT with Project Management Coordination tasks including creating and maintaining the project plans and documentation in line with the IT Project Management Framework
• Report and communicate progress on the IT Projects including status updates, KPI’s, reports and dashboards and Minutes of Meetings.
• Supporting the team to improve the internal Project Management processes and ways of working.

 
Change and Communication Management

• Support stakeholder mgt. with local TEPDK management and central head quarters
• Support the design, development, delivery and management of IT related communications

Support the SAP team and the department

• Creating and raising service orders

Ad-hoc Administrative tasks

Your background

• Resident in Denmark, near Esbjerg
• Relevant BA/MA educational degree in Business Management or IT with at least 2 years left
• Knowledge of/skills in Microsoft Office programme: Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
• Proficiency in oral and written English
