About the Department Novo Nordisk is seeking an engaged student for a part-time student assistant position (8 hours/week). The Global Research Business Support is a part of the Global Research (GR) Organisation which is responsible for the development of new treatment options within the targeted therapy areas in Novo Nordisk. GR is a global organisation with around 1500 employees split between Måløv, Beijing and Seattle. The Job You will join a team of 13 dedicated employees in the GR Business Support department. The main responsibility of the department is to deliver state of the art business support to the senior management in Global Research by ensuring effective and efficient business processes, development of business plans and securing portfolio planning and prioritisations. In addition to this, we are working as project managers with responsibility for driving and implementing optimisation projects. You will be reporting to the team coordinator of the team in charge of portfolio management, project planning and project reporting. You will be responsible for supporting 20+ research project managers from the GR organisation by ensuring payment and tracking of project-related invoices. This will include follow-up on project budgets and associated interactions with the GR finance partners. In addition to this, you will be expected to support the team by assisting with set up of internal project web sites, ensuring printing and distribution of milestone documents and additional ad hoc tasks related to project reporting in GR. Qualifications You are currently pursuing a relevant Bachelor- or Master’s degree with excellent results during your studies. You must have a natural flair for IT and numbers, and you must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel. It is pivotal that you have an out-going nature possess good communication skills. You must be self-propelled and be able to take initiative while always performing your tasks with a keen eye on the detail. Most importantly, you work with a high level of engagement. We expect you to be service minded and to thrive in a fast-paced environment where two days are rarely alike. The atmosphere in GR business support is open and informal and it is important that you have a good sense of humour.
