For our Demand Management department we are looking for a talented and highly motivated student worker to support the operations of Demand Management. The Demand Management department is globally responsible in Onshore for managing the processes around sales, project and supply chain planning. Among the tasks are short and long term planning, project prioritization and management reporting. We position ourselves in the centre of activities around sales and execution globally and as a part of this we provide knowledge to make decisions for the better of Siemens Wind Power Onshore. In the effort of doing so there is a grand need for creating reliable data collection and analysis. This is where we need your support. What are my responsibilities? Supporting the development reporting systems and creating analysis based on large data sources Supporting the excel based tools including programming in VBA Contributing to the process of creating reports and gathering data Assisting management reporting Creating data analysis as input for long term demand planning What do I need to qualify for this job? You are enrolled at a Master (preferred) or Bachelor (preferably at the 7th-8th semester) education of Business Administration, Economics or Engineering, You have advanced knowledge of excel and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) You have experience with databases (e.g. Access and extracting data using SQL), which will be considered as an advantage You have a structured and organized approach to your tasks and can accept working in a dynamic environment You are able to convert various sources of input and information into meaning. You are able to build up tasks on your own and do not hesitate to challenge your colleagues. You know how to present a message in both Power Point and oral presentation. You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, as well as high level mathematic/statistical skills In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
