For our Loads and Control Department at our global engineering head office in Brande, we are looking for a student employee or intern to support the Wind Turbine Loads and Design team. With the high level aim of minimizing the cost of energy produced by our wind turbines, the team is responsible for making state of the art load and control solutions for our large turbine development projects. The software tools that we use to perform the work need continually improvement, and to support this we are looking for a student with excellent programming skills. What are my responsibilities? · Gather information from relevant employees to get an overview of the requirements of the software tool that you will be working on · Design and programming of Matlab GUIs · Programming of our numerical methods in Matlab · Programming of auto-reporting Matlab functions based on Excel and Word templates What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background within Software Engineering or the like and have performed above average during your studies · The tools are mainly made in Matlab and hence a sound experience with this program is important. Experience with C and/or wind turbine technology is an advantage · You are to be able to be physically present 1 day pr. week in Brande, but we are open to discuss the setup if needed. In your application please state how many hours pr. week you expect to be able to work in Brande and later perhaps from home · As the tasks will require a learning period we are looking for someone who can work as a student employee for at least a year · You possess excellent English skills both oral and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
