For our Global Supplier Quality Towers department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure continuous focus on the qualification process within our Procurement organization. The department has the overall responsibility for securing that suppliers meet Siemens Wind Power’s product requirements as well as corporate responsibilities. As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will handle supplier quality management systems, supplier processes and product qualifications in accordance with relevant requirements. In this position you will report to the Global Quality Manager, Towers. What are my responsibilities? · Planning, initiating and controlling the quality measures for goods and services (quality audits, incoming goods inspection etc.) to ensure the quality requirements of customers. · Developing and maintaining an optimum quality assurance strategy and technology in order to achieve maximum test coverage within the time frame and costs limits. · Being responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for supplier goods in accordance with relevant standards. · Following up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to products manufactured by the supplier. · Ensuring that the product and process quality of suppliers is compliant with Siemens Wind Power’s requirements (ISO9001 – quality plans, PS, MPP etc.). · Taking initiative to improve the competence and performance of suppliers. · Updating audit plans and Approved Supplier Database (ASD). What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have good knowledge of welding technologies/welded assembly and experience with surface treatment of steel structures. · You have material and EN/ISO standard knowledge as well as understanding of drawings and specifications. · You have at least 5 years of experience from a similar position, quality inspection experience and preferably also quality auditing experience. · As a person you are self-driven, assertive and quality-oriented, and you have a structured approach to your tasks. · You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are capable of interfacing with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment. · You have experience using computer systems (SAP preferably) and other IT related programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. Please note that you should expect approx. 160-180 travel days per year. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
