Job ID: 152738 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time For the Supplier Quality department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a competent Supplier Quality Engineer to initiate and control quality measures for composite suppliers. What are my responsibilities? · Planning, initiating and controlling quality measures with regard to accuracy, completeness, reliability, install-ability and performance of supplier components. · Developing and maintaining suppliers in accordance with quality standards to minimize the costs of poor quality. · Representing supplier quality management within the respective commodity team to improve supplier quality by conducting supplier qualification, follow-up activities, monitoring supplier performance, performing quality system/product/process audits and supplier evaluations. · Conducting NCR handling and follow-up for respective suppliers. Please note that you should expect approx. 70-100 travel days per year with this position What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background as an engineer or experienced technician with knowledge and experience in composite materials combined with lead auditor ISO9001:2000 training and supplier qualification experience. · You have a strong technical insight into composite production processes and ideally you have a Six Sigma green or yellow belt. · As a person you are outgoing, proactive and structured with a detail and quality-oriented approach to your work. You have the ability to work independently as well as in teams, and you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess advanced English skills both orally and in writing. · In addition, you are familiar with MS Office and SAP. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
