For our Global Supplier Quality Generator department we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer - NDT Level 3 to ensure continuous focus on the qualification process within our Procurement organization. In this position you will report to the Global Quality Manager, Generator. As a Supplier Quality Engineer NDT Level 3 you will be handling our supplier quality management system as well as our supplier processes and product qualifications in accordance with relevant requirements. What are my responsibilities? · Conducting supplier process qualifications in accordance with Siemens Wind Power’s purchase specifications within the NDT area · Following up on suppliers’ technical capabilities within the NDT area · Involvement in design reviews in order to ensure and improve producible components · Participating in regular commodity meetings · Monitoring and evaluating suppliers’ performance within the NDT area · Participating in NCR handling within the NDT area · Participating in process improvement activities within the NDT area What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are a qualified NDT level 3 in accordance with EN 473 or EN 9712 · You have practical NDT work experience within eddy current, phase array, VT, UT and MT · You hold valid certificates for the NDT methods with minimum VT, UT and MT · You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing · You are willing to travel In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
