About the department The Corporate Vice President Area in Product Supply ‘Contract & Local Manufacturing’ (CLM) is responsible for Novo Nordisk`s outsourced manufacturing of semi-finished and finished drug products to local and global markets world-wide. As our new supply chain planner you will join nine highly motivated and talented colleagues in Contract & Local Manufacturing Logistics who are responsible for purchase and planning of products from our Contract Manufacturing Organisation – outsourced production partners (CMOs) world-wide. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the supply of Novo Nordisk raw materials to our Contract Manufacturing Organisation – outsourced production partners. The position As Supply Chain Planner in Contract and Local Manufacturing Logistics you will be responsible for the daily Supply Chain Management operation of selected Contract Manufacturing Organisation ensuring our products are delivered timely in order to meet our customers’ demands. Your role as Supply Chain Planner includes timely follow up on delivery performance, quality performance and ensuring products are delivered to our customers. Furthermore the role involves working in close collaboration with various other functions in Novo Nordisk and weekly update of department flow-boards. Therefore good communication, coordination skills and structured approach to the tasks at hand are key qualifications to this position. The Supply Chain Planner’s main responsibility will be to plan supply from our Contract Manufacturing Organisation according to customer demands and ensure sufficient stock of raw materials at our Contract Manufacturing Organisation, adhering to predefined stock levels. To be successful you are required to ensure good communication and collaboration between our many internal & external stakeholders in the supply chain. Face to face visits at least twice a year and telephone conferences on a frequent basis as well as submitting monthly forecast and orders in a timely manner is also part of your role as our new supply chain planner As we are still a fairly new organisation you will be a part of a journey where we will standardise our purchase planning processes even more. Creating robustness in our processes is one of our key optimisation drivers, and you will be part of the optimisation process and at a later stage in replacing our current IT system with SAP. You will work in an organisation with several external and internal stakeholders and with your strong coordination skills you will act as the natural anchoring point for supply chain information. You will execute on tasks within your own area of responsibility but will also be part of a team where tasks are executed in a joined effort across other Novo Nordisk departments. Qualifications You have a Supply Chain background with experience within shipping, planning or purchasing. You are good at building relationships across cultures and get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. Apart from having good communication and coordination skills you are proactive in your daily work. Strong English skills are required both in writing and orally. You have a quality mind-set and strong analytical skills. You are experienced within SAP ECC, SAP APO, BW and Excel and it is an advantage if you speak French. Personally you are highly engaged, have a positive mind-set and an open mind. You work independently and enjoy a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while managing deadlines.
