About the department Clinical Supplies Supply Chain Planning (CSSCP) is a key member of R&D CMC Clinical Supplies (CS) and is vital in bringing new drugs to market. Our responsibility is to ensure that trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for all clinical trials conducted globally by Novo Nordisk. We operate in the combined field of supply chain management and regulatory requirements within drug development. The job As Supply Chain Planner in our Supply Planning team you will be responsible for the complex clinical supply chain ensuring timely and sufficient trial product for our clinical trial sites globally. You will through efficient and timely planning decide how much product needs to be packed and available throughout the study life time, and by setting up a proper distribution strategy you will make sure we do not have stock outs on any depots or clinical sites around the world. Your responsibilities also include supporting stakeholders globally during trial conduct with regards to ensuring trial supply availability. This position is temporary for 12 months. Qualifications You have an academic degree within supply chain management or logistics e.g. engineering or Cand. merc. (scm). Ideally you have experience from a similar job with clinical trial supplies, pharmaceuticals or the supply chain management area. You have excellent computer skills and mastering several systems falls natural for you. You are an advanced super user of MS Excel and you master analysing and merging large amount of data extracted from various systems using e.g. power pivot and VBA. Experience from a GMP/GCP regulated environment is an advantage. You have strong analytical skills, a strong quality mind-set, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, approach tasks in a structured way and you are able to work with multiple and frequently changing priorities in a dynamic environment that is driven by the tight deadlines characterising the final phases of drug development projects. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. You have a positive attitude to challenges and see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
