About the department Sourcing QA Raw Materials is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S Products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. Furthermore we are assuring the foundation for release of the raw materials for use in the production of the many products produced by Novo Nordisk A/S. A combination of ensuring the high standard of the incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools, is part of our daily work to improve and secure robustness in our internal processes. In total, we are 27 dedicated employees divided into 2 teams working closely together. The open position as QA professional is in the Raw Materials team consisting of 12 QA employees. The team is responsible for incoming raw materials used in all of Novo Nordisk A/S pharmaceutical products spanning both Biopharm and the Diabetes product portfolio. The team contributes to the high quality in development projects regarding raw materials for pipeline Drug Projects, by taking over the QA responsibility for the items at the point where a drug becomes marketed. The job As QA professional in Sourcing QA Raw Materials you will, together with your dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories. This includes excipients, API raw materials and Process Aids from our global suppliers. You will be involved in handling costumer complaints, change implementation and investigations of non-conformities. You will be working closely together with QA for the sourcing processes, RA, Purchasing/Logistics, Warehouse, consuming departments and suppliers. Some of your tasks will be the approval of quality related documents and processes, and you will participate in relevant preparations for audits and inspections. You will continuously focus on ensuring a high compliance level in the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to influence our internal processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders both internally and externally. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines you are able to make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical– or BioTech- engineering or a related discipline. You have a strong quality mind-set and a good knowledge of GMP rules and of Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of chemistry, micro-biology, raw materials, relevant production processes and internal processes in Novo Nordisk is an advantage.
