Are you a motivated Supply Chain professional with in-depth general technical knowledge, who wants to work in an organisation where we demand constant innovation? We have an immediate opportunity for a Global Supply Chain employee to join our team?

With a primary focus on supporting the company’s different arenas such as engineering, contracts and sales, your experience will cover risk and opportunity reporting, supply chain processes and procedures, as well have experience ensuring accurate alternative parts sourcing and purchase.

You will be protecting the commercial interests of the company’s business in all areas of procurement by the identification of suitable suppliers for all procured items and with the support of contracts, establish trading and pricing agreements with those suppliers or service providers to best enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the company.

• Support implementation of contracts and changes
• Administration of the commercial, financial and coordinate the management of allocated suppliers
• Develop, review and assess new requirements and any new suppliers that may be required to fulfil the organisations obligations.
• Ensure that subcontractor obligations are fulfilled throughout the performance period
• Ensuring compliance for the Global Supply Chain and the wider project team with the Global Supply Chain processes and procedures
• Develop close working relationships with all teams in our company.
• Review and develop any supplier agreements, to ensure that terms and conditions are consistent with those at the customer level
• Minimise the risk exposure for the project through professional management of the supply chain
• Support company cash management objectives and ensure the company’s commercial exposure is minimized
• Export control administration
• Management of changes to agreements for organisations within the Global Supply Chain
• Responsibilities subject to change with agreement and business requirements
• Develop communication between you, the wider team and sub-contractors to ensure all parties are as effective as they can be
• Act as the main contact point for sub-contractors

 

Key criteria required... 

• Experience with Contract/Subcontract or Procurement administration
• Excellent and proven administrative and technical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally on all technical and commercial matters
• Numeracy skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility and demonstrated ability to achieve demanding deadlines
• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office, Navision and SharePoint tools
• Excellent English language, both spoken and written
