Then you may be the person we are looking for to take up our vacant position as System Supporter in Clinical Operations, Global Development. In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The department is a part of Clinical Systems Management which manages the clinical systems used for collecting and processing data in our clinical trials. We are responsible for providing functional support to users as well as ensure development and improvement of business processes and IT systems in cooperating with external vendors. We work closely with many stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk organisation, both locally and in our affiliates worldwide. We are fifteen dedicated employees in the department who are responsible for supporting and training in the use of our Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS): International Management Package for Administration of Clinical Trials (IMPACT), Investigator Portal: Global Haemophilia Network (GHN), Risk Based Monitoring (RBM), Intranet (Microsoft Sharepoint) and reporting in SAP Business Objects (BO), QlikSense and Statistic Analysis System (SAS) Jump (JMP) clinical. In addition to supporting our existing systems, we provide input to new IT solutions, participate in IT projects as well as drive IT projects ourselves. The position We are looking for a new colleague to take up a position as System Supporter to provide functional support for our Global Clinical Trial teams. You will be part of a team that will drive our continued development of Risk Based Monitoring IT and reporting with support, training, user requirements and also help to oversee implementation of new reports and metrics. We strive to provide fast and high quality support to the Trial teams entering trial execution using Risk Based Monitoring and reporting to ensure that the clinical trials can be conducted in high quality and according to the agreed timelines. In addition to the daily support of our Trial teams, we also maintain the processes surrounding the systems. This entails participation in related IT projects and process improvement projects both as Project Managers and as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), collaborating closely on a daily basis with our internal users and our external vendors. Depending on your qualifications and ambitions, you will take on project member and/or project management tasks in relation to these projects. You will also be responsible for communication with several stakeholders such as our Clinical Trial teams, Central Monitoring Unit and System Managers regarding issues and process improvements. Qualifications You most likely have an academic degree in Health Science or IT. Good understanding of IT systems, training and experience with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a must. Experience with the clinical development process and experience from clinical trial conduct is an advantage. Knowledge of clinical trial monitoring, data management and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) are beneficial. As a person, you are a team player, with good communication skills.
