Responsible for support and continued development of Business Applications 
You will be part of our agile IT department (Business Application and Support Team), which is responsible for the internal IT Service Desk and customer-facing IT Service Management system (ITSM). Here, the team supports, maintains and develops our many internal IT systems in various business applications, not only with respect to how we develop software in our various business units, but also in relation to the company's other IT functions. The team consists of 14 skilled colleagues – 10 based in Aarhus and 4 based in Romania.

Your primary responsibility will be collaborating with your colleagues to deliver a consistent IT service to our many internal users. In particular, you will be working with the tools that our developers use on a daily basis, primarily: JIRA, Teamcity and Bitbucket. You can expect to spend approximately 50% of your time on support and maintenance of existing tools. The rest of the time, you will be collaborating with the various development teams, in part by helping them find new useful tools. Based on the experience you gain through collaboration with the development teams, you will also develop knowledge regarding best practice in software development and ensure that this knowledge is shared throughout the company. You will therefore play an essential role when it comes to our working processes in Systematic to ensure quality and efficiency in the development of our software. You will be working on all levels in Systematic and collaborating with both suppliers and colleagues from around the world.

Your work areas will include:

• Assisting our support team in the use and setup of various development tools.
• Provision of second- and third-line support
• Responsibility for maintaining systems and integrations to ensure they are up to date
• Routine contact with subcontractors for updates
• Responsibility for the implementation of improvements through well-defined sprints
• Development of procedures and interfaces
• Documentation of tools and procedures

You will also be part of the team's other tasks. You will participate in team meetings and help out across the team when necessary. Over time, you will also participate in best practice training in tools, both for the internal Service Desk and the rest of the company.

Strong technical profile with a flair for collaboration 
The ideal candidate will have a master's or bachelor's degree in data sciences or in a similar field. Familiarity with agile development methods is a plus. The most important thing is that you are interested in the underlying processes that ensure that our internal tools function optimally and follow best practice.

As an individual, you should be skilled when it comes to setting priorities and planning your workday. You should be inquisitive and enjoy both acquiring new knowledge and sharing knowledge with others. You should have a high level of initiative and be driven to get to the core of problems that arise in the company, where you will be able to clearly and accurately present streamlined and practical solution models. Also, you should be able to communicate technical information to colleagues who do not possess the same technical understanding as you. You should be responsible and take pride in finding both constructive and practical solutions to many different technical challenges. At the same time, you should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment consisting of many deadlines and where close collaboration with your team is necessary to be able to prioritise the ongoing challenges and deliver consistent solutions for the company as a whole.

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, to have experience with:

• JIRA, Teamcity and Bitbucket.
• Software Quality Analysis tools
• TestRail

Advanced written and spoken English is a requirement.
