Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will work on a broad range of tasks for Maersk Drilling on operational, compliance and process matters. Your main objectives will be: • Supporting the tax department with research into international tax law and related case law; • Collecting and processing information in relation to new business opportunities and controversies You will have a wide range of contacts throughout the organisation and co-operate closely with colleagues in various departments such as Finance, Legal, and Commercial, both in Lyngby and abroad. These contacts will provide you with important building blocks which can be useful throughout the development of your future career. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate is an ambitious student in the last year of their Bachelor’s Degree or first year of their Master’s Degree. It is a pre-requisite that you are pursuing a relevant degree within e.g. law, tax, or accounting, for example cand.jur, cand.merc.jur, or cand.merc.aud. You are pro-active, have an eagerness to learn, have a logical and structured approach to working and have the confidence to build relationships with colleagues inside and outside the Finance Department. We expect you to be a self-starter who works independently, takes ownership of your tasks and has a high sense of detail and quality. You possess excellent analytical skills and you are a strong and transparent communicator both verbally and written. Fluency in English are requirements for this position along with strong numerical skills. We expect a workload of 15-20 hours per week.
