For our Generator Department we are looking for a team lead for the structural design team. Continuous improvement of our turbines - without compromising on safety and quality - is one of the corner stones of our culture and time to market is one of our main priorities. Consequently, our generator department is at the forefront of the latest Direct Drive Generator technology, and we are replacing the gear box with our own developed multi-poled, outer rotor, permanent magnet generator. The structural design team is based in Brande and is staffed with highly skilled engineers within structural analysis, vibration analysis and noise analysis. Furthermore we have established a similar team in India for securing sufficient capacity. What are my responsibilities? · Team lead tasks for 11 international engineers (coaching, recruiting etc) · Deliver according to project plans · Operational engineering securing the running production: Non Conformance handling, service cases, cost out, · Competence development: individually and for the team · Develop new future key employees What do I need to qualify for this job? You have an educational background as a mechanical engineer (M.Sc.) or similar and have experience in product development · You have a proven track record in successful people management from a development department · You have experience in team development and change management · You thrive in a dynamic and international environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills · You possess excellent English skills written as well as spoken In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
