About the department Chemical Development is responsibility for the development of chemical processes and for production of API and intermediates for pre-clinical and clinical studies. In the department you will find 53 highly skilled and motivated colleagues with a “can-do” attitude, who constantly challenge themselves to develop and upscale robust chemical processes. The department is divided into four teams located in Bagsværd and Måløv. The job The job is located at the GMP pilot plant facility in Bagsværd where your main task will be day-to-day operations in a new team responsible for the department compliance and facility activities. You will be a part of a strong management team and your responsibility is to ensure team deliverables and support the team members to fulfill their potential. We expect you to drive planning and prioritization between projects in close collaboration with stakeholders, and we expect you to drive projects relevant for maintaining and developing productivity of the team. With your GMP mindset, you set direction for the team ensuring that it is supporting the requirements from the projects and authorities. Qualifications You hold a PhD or master degree as chemical engineer, pharmacist, cand.scient or similar. You have management experience and act as competent sparring partner to your team - coaching and empowering employees to deliver excellent scientific results and to take responsibility for their own professional and personal development. Experience from a pharmaceutical/life science R&D or manufacturing organization will be an advantage. You lead and embrace changes and exhibit a structured and convincing approach to transitioning people and organizations from current to desired state. In addition to this, you are able to spur enthusiasm and energy around you, and you possess strong networking and interpersonal skills. Commitment to science and its industrial application, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and being a team player is expected from you. You have shown through your work experience that you have the ability to take on challenges even when there are obstacles along the way and that you thrive in a dynamic environment where you don’t know what the day will bring when you meet in the morning.
