About the department Clinical Supplies Supply Chain Planning (CSSCP) is a key member of CMC Clinical Supplies (CS) in the R&D organisation. CS is responsible for planning, production, packaging and distribution of products for all clinical trials conducted globally by Novo Nordisk. Supply Chain Planning consists of 40 employees located in Måløv. The department is organised in three teams; Temperature Control & Material Planning, Supply Planning Late Phase and Supply Planning Early Phase & Operations. Our responsibility is to ensure that trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for all clinical trials conducted globally by Novo Nordisk. We operate in the combined field of supply chain management and regulatory requirements within drug development. We are involved from first human dose to phase IV trials. The job As Team Leader of the Supply Planning Early Phase & Operations Team, you will be heading up a team of around 10 dedicated employees. The core processes are planning the packaging and distribution of early phase trials as well as driving all activities and documentation related to ordering packaging at our internal packaging facility and external contract packaging facilities. The team works in close collaboration with stakeholders across the world as well as teams across Clinical Supplies. Your responsibility is to drive daily operations, support your team in resolution of operational issues, ensure compliance, foster continuous improvements of our processes, develop your employees and last but not least ensure the well-being of your team. As Team Leader, you have to secure that we always deliver on time and in the right quality. You will engage in regular board meetings, systematic problem solving and you work closely with the team leaders from other parts of the clinical supply chain, securing an end to end mind-set and a holistic approach to solving the complex task of delivering products to clinical trials often under tight deadlines. Qualifications You hold a relevant Master's degree (e.g. in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management) preferably combined with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a GMP/GCP or other regulated environment. You are a strong people manager and have a proven ability to inspire and motivate others and to engage your team members to deliver high quality results in a good working climate. You are goal oriented and through a strong process understanding you can identify, plan and overview many parallel business processes and prioritise the most value adding initiatives and ensure their implementation.
