About the department In CMC API QA we assure that all API used for clinical trials live up to GMP requirements. The department consists of 36 dedicated employees performing quality assurance of all API products and raw materials for development projects within Novo Nordisk A/S. We serve the pilot facilities and development departments within CMC API Development. The many on-going projects, brings with it interesting challenges for every member of the department every day. In addition, we expect a significant growth in the years to come due to our expanding development pipeline which also includes construction of additional production capacity. The job As Team Leader you will be responsible for a team of 12 employees in our upstream team performing quality assurance on products, processes, facilities and production equipment on site. Part of your responsibility will also be to provide compliance status according to GMP for the development departments, the GMP pilot facilities as well as CMO’s. You will address quality issues and report back to the management on a regular basis to ensure an appropriate quality level. Through the management team you will be part of setting the overall direction of where we are going and how to get there. This will be the place where you will have the chance to lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture environment. We expect you to be ready to challenge and be challenged on how we achieve our success. Qualifications You hold a degree in pharmacy, chemical engineering or similar. You are expected to have a solid background within API and/or Drug Product production, supplemented with a few years leadership experience. Solid experience within one or more of the following areas is expected: GMP, validation, quality or regulatory requirements for the production of API in clinical trials.
