Can you facilitate and visualize concept development and work processes throughout the Vestas value chain? Do you have strong graphical communication skills and the ability to work in a team? Then you might be our new colleague in Vestas Transport & Handling Processes which is accountable for developing and optimizing work processes and tools for Transport, Installation and Maintenance of wind turbines. Technology & Service Solutions > Nacelle, Power & Handling > Transport & Handling processes "Transport & Handling" (T&H) is a part of "Technology & Service Solutions" (TSS), located within the R&D organization in Vestas. The department is accountable for developing and maintaining standard work processes and tools for transportation, installation and maintenance of wind turbines. In relation to construction our responsibilities are: •Development of construction concepts for new WTG products in collaboration with WTG designers •Ensure that market requirements and best practice is included in the WTG design •To drive new product developments to ensure WTG design enables cost optimized construction solutions and ensure full value chain perspective in new products •Optimization of construction in terms of cost reduction and quality improvements •Collection of improvement suggestions and best practice from a range of stakeholders Responsibilities As a Technical Illustrator in Transport & Handling, you will ensure that operational experience and new concepts are combined and communicated visually through concept sketches, story board and process descriptions. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure that the full value chain is taken into account when developing new processes. You will provide important input to the development of transportation, installation and maintenance processes and descriptions of on-site processes will be a core deliverable for you. Qualifications •Industrial designer, technical designer or similar •Experience in describing and illustrating work processes or similar •Knowledge of PTC’s product suite •Experience from wind turbine industry or similar heavy industry is preferred •Experience with project management or planning of (own) work Competencies •Ability to drive , facilitate and illustrate cross functional process development •Ability to manage own deadlines and deliver according to planned schedule •Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal •Proven ability to work independently and in teams; also when under pressure •Capable of cooperating with colleagues in a professional and positive manner What we offer We offer you an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic work environment.
