Would you like to expand your knowledge substantially within sensor technology and doing projects for large, international customers? And do you want to touch base with many different specialist areas gaining a large network both within and outside Grundfos? Then join the SEN T-KAM department where we are 5 relentlessly ambitious colleagues. We work closely with the entire Sales organisation and are responsible for developing our external sales of Grundfos sensors. You refer to Chief Engineer, Per Andersen. ”Our team is characterised by a free and open tone and close collaboration where we spar with one another. We make a big deal out of being open and trustworthy and close customer contact is a major focus area for us,” Per explains. What is the job about? As our new T- KAM, you are responsible for running projects with large, external customers around the world who have special technical wishes regarding our standard solutions and products. The majority of your projects revolve around sensors for pressure, flow and temperature, which you adapt to meet the customers’ needs and make sure the solutions are implemented. Should you need resources from the organisation, you are responsible for finding the right collaborators to get the tasks done. Usually, you can find the relevant resources right in our department. Part of your job takes on an operational role as you will handle the technical aspects of the projects, which also includes lab work. Here, you develop new functionalities for Direct Sensors. Further, you design mechanical features for other projects. Thus, you get to contribute to a wide range of projects. You can expect to travel 30-50 days a year. “It is one thing to run these projects but quite another to be able to answer a wide array of questions from our different customers. It requires that you have a broad knowledge within electronics, mechanics and hydronic systems– and within sensor technology in general. We know it is a learning process and are prepared to spar with you continuously so you get to build up your knowledge,” Per says. What do you need to apply? You have an MSc in Engineering, preferably within mechanical design. You understand hydronic systems and it is an advantage if you have experience with CAD programmes, e.g. Catia, which we use. You speak and write English fluently. If you know Danish, it is a plus. “On a personal level, you are open and outgoing. It is important that you appear trustworthy and accommodating towards our customers as you will be in touch with them quite a bit,” Per finishes.
