Do you have strong technical project management skills? Are you motivated by a broad interface with many different stakeholders? Would you like to play a key role in Vestas Converter Control department? Do you have strong electrical skills? Then you might be our new Technical Lead. At Vestas Converter Control we are developing framework and control software for Vestas converter systems used in all of our products. Technology & Service Solutions, Nacelle, power & Handling, Electrical power & Control, Converter Control Technology & Service Solutions is the cornerstone of Vestas. Through innovation, development and continuous product improvement we develop the products and technologies that reduce the cost of energy and bring the highest possible value to our customers and to Vestas. To put it short: Vestas Technology & Service Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. Converter Control develops and maintains all converter control and software functionalities for all Vestas turbines. We provide first in class converter solutions with quality meeting system and grid requirements. Responsibilities: Your tasks can vary from complex development of new systems and concepts to implementation of improvements of existing products, and your primary tasks will be: Perform technical leadership in development projects. Plan work package execution together with development team. Plan the scope and resources for the projects. Design and develop the technical solution within quality, time and cost targets of the project. Prioritize the technical team’s tasks based on the calculated impact to project targets. Identify and mitigate technical risks within the project scope. Lead technical reviews. Manage and align project challenges with stakeholders. Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to interfacing systems in order to optimize product design. Qualifications: Masters or Bachelor of Electrical, Software or Mechatronic Engineering + 3 years’ experience from a technical project management role Preferably experience with (C and C++) Experience with development projects in a large organization Certified in Scrum or other relevant agile methods Competencies: Strong personality and personal impact, to secure progress in projects. Highly independent and self-initiated to learn / dig into design and code. You have been working with technical project management in your previous positions. Good communication and presentation skills in English and Danish. Focus on the project scope and able to understand the impact a scope change will have on the projects. Self-driven and independent work approach, but also a strong team player and motivator. Flair for and interest in stakeholder management including coordination, planning and reporting. Technical leadership, and understanding the business and value chain. Process oriented. What we offer: Exposure to state of the art converter software and control in Vestas.
