Drive unique solutions in a creative environment
You will be part of our cross-functional team EcoStruxure - Technology, based in both France and Denmark. Combined, we are 17 colleagues who deliver an end-to-end sensor to cloud Industrial IoT solution. You will focus on a range of embedded controllers that are reused across Schneider Electric to embrace the power of connected products through our EcoStruxure© Platform.
Working in a fully agile Scrum environment, you will join a team of experts within embedded electronics – from PCB, chip implementation, drivers, BSP and operating systems – where you will have focus on everything hardware-related. We enjoy a central position in the organisation as part of the digital business unit where we are seen as the centre of excellence within the embedded world.
Product owner in the embedded world
This job will provide you with more than a set of tasks to complete. The sky is the limit as you will have 140,000 colleagues as potential collaborators when you work across all lines of business to promote your team’s technology. Working across the company to seize opportunities, you will feel empowered to bring your ideas to the table as you spot and understand business needs – and feed projects with ground-breaking technology.
This entails meeting with product teams as well as colleagues who have a potential need in their specific project and advocating for our digital services. In the different projects, you will be responsible for defining features and prioritising the team backlog. Your work will be crucial for streamlining the execution of programme priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features for the team.
You will work with architects, offer management and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met on time with each product release. Specifically, you:
- Represent the “voice of the customer” by ensuring that the team is working on stories that maximise business value
- Work with our Scrum master and architects to decompose user stories into actionable development tasks
- Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are inspired and motivated to deliver innovative and exciting solutions
- Work with key stakeholders across the team (development, test, release, professional services, operations) to ensure successful product releases

Good experience with product management

- You hold a BA in electronic engineering or equivalent and have 5+ years of experience in product management or from a technological leading role.
- It is a plus if you have experience developing platforms for an electronic or IoT application.
- It is an advantage if you possess knowledge of embedded systems architecture and technologies.
