We are looking for a skilled and commited Technical Project Manager to join our team in Hammel, who is responsible for delivering production equipment for Vestas factories. So if you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar and you have solid experience as a Technical Project Manager from an international production environment, you might the candidate we are looking for. Manufacturing and Global Sourcing > Assembly > PEX, Tools & Automation Tools & Automation is a global function with the responsibility to deliver production equipment for all Vestas factories. (Except blade factories). Our projects vary from optimization and automation projects, to full tooling projects for new factories. Responsibilities You will be heading one or more projects depending on the size and complexity. You manage the project from initial cooperation with our R&D department until you hand over the project to our internal costumer. The project teams will consist of 2-5 persons located globally. Your project reference will be either directly to the Steering Committee or to an overall project manager, if your project is a subproject. Your responsibilities: You ensure that all project work are done safely You lead your project team, and ensures they deliver according to the agreed time, quality and cost You manage sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure they perform as agreed You perform good stakeholder management to ensure the right commitment to your project You make resource estimates and ensure resources are allocated to your projects from the line organization You prepare and conduct Steering committee- and project status meetings You handle risk & issues You ensure that our processes are followed and you contribute to a continuous improvement of our processes as well Qualifications We are searching a technical oriented project manager who balances technical knowledge with project management disciplines. If you have experience from leading technical complex projects within a global manufacturing environment, then you are the one we would like to hear from. Our project model is based on PRINCE II principles, and it will therefore be an advantage if you are PRINCE II certified. Furthermore we expect that you: Hold a Bachelor’s degree as Marine Engineer, Production Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar Have at least 3 years of relevant Technical Project Management experience from a production environment.
