Are you an experienced Engineer and would you like to work in an innovative environment and gain a huge network across the LEGO® Group? Then this is your opportunity to manage integrated product development processes to eliminate risk in the early stage of new product development. Plan and lead the development of never seen, never done play experiences Overall, your role is to head a team of 3 Mechanical Engineers in new product development projects. You scope and produce project plans to ensure that the technical aspects of the projects are moving forward, including balancing the visions of the designers with what is technically possible. As such, you will: Ensure progress in developing innovative and functional high level prototypes with a large degree of innovation and play experience but still with low final manufacturing cost and low complexity Calculate and estimate in terms of capacity and financial resources to make sure that the projects stay within budget, time and quality standards Serve as the go-to-person for your team, providing motivation and support in their daily tasks, and having the final responsibility for the technical aspects of the prototype Navigate in and take into account requirements from all stakeholders, from design and packaging to production - and bring results to the Engineering Steering Committee Drive the component team Collaboration from A to Z The LEGO® Group is an international, family-owned business and collaboration shapes everything we do.
