Are you passionate about truly technical challenges? You will join Part Design Quality, a department of 14 dedicated technical colleagues in the Engineering unit of the LEGO Group in Billund. Part Design Quality is a global team with 3 colleagues abroad, and you will become part of a very technical culture. We offer you an opportunity to take on an international role where you: - Have project manager responsibility for key projects from start to finish - Work with primarily the technical side of the LEGO System - Get a broad global network - Have an essential position working with securing the LEGO Building System Part Design Quality is a project team that deals with projects related to the building system and to the processes in relation to approving the quality of tools. We are the "watch dog" for the LEGO Building system and secures that the LEGO legacy endures. The nature of your work may take you travelling up to 30 days per year - depending on the projects. Sparring partner and project manager within quality matters As our new Quality Engineer, your main responsibility will be to function as sparring partner for various internal and external partners on issues related to the quality of the building system. You will thus investigate complicated quality system issues in the whole tool procurement process in our division or in connection with our global partners, internal or external. In doing so, you maintain the project manager role in various technical quality projects, or Six Sigma projects, to support our global production sites as well as play a vital role in increasing cooperation between global production sites and Design departments. Projects may include issues related to third party testing or other product specification tests. You will probably manage or participate in 1-2 larger high-priority projects at the same time, as well as take part in the daily business in relation to questions and issues - as we are the knowledge center for our global production. This is a role with a broad international interface, and one of your tasks will be to build up and develop strong relations with our global production sites or key stakeholders. Your initial challenge is that you may not be able to apply your previous experience directly with us. However, with your technical, systematic and analytical skills, you will quickly be able to create value, both for the builders of tomorrow, us and yourself. Experienced and technical Quality Engineer with strong project management skills You hold a BA in Engineering, preferably within plastics or have valuable experience from a similar role. You have been employed within the technical industry for the past 3+ years and it is a plus if you have at least a basic understanding of tools and drawings. It is vital that your track record includes working with the technical side of quality. Moreover you have successfully conducted project management on longer business critical projects. Fluent English, spoken and written, is a prerequisite. Furthermore, you know how to communicate with your colleagues and stakeholders across nationalities. Being open towards input, you excel at showing the direction for your colleagues and leading a project team.
