Technical Sales - Heat Exchange expert in Process Technology Division

Alfa Laval Nordic, with a total of 200 employees, has a strong ambition to become World Class in terms of our performance and customer perception. We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales engineer to support the business towards Process Industry customers and Contractors in the Nordic countries. Major part of the business is within heat transfer technology. As Technical Sales Engineer you are expected to work proactively with telephone sales, active follow-up of quotations and to support our external sales force with technical solutions. Responsibility: You will work close together with your Nordic and central Alfa Laval collegues in order to grow the business by - Proactive technical sales of Alfa Laval product range to process customers in the Nordic countries. - Follow up on quotes and projects. - Technical heat exchanger expert for applications in the Nordic Process Technology Division. - Drive and manage customer opportunities towards the production units in Alfa Laval. Your profile: To be successful in this position you need to be accurate, structured, and socially competent and to have a well-developed flair for maintaining relationships by phone. You should be both sales focused and technique oriented. You act fast on customer requests and are able to – and even like – handling more than one thing at a time. You have a dedicated focus on the customers and understand the value of team working. You have a successful background within technical sales, preferably in business-to-business relations. Qualifications: - Technical education - Used to work independently and are “Self motivating”, but still a team player - Good communications skills, written and oral - Like to work with deadlines – and occasionally working in a hectically environment - Result oriented You master atleast one Scandinavian language and English. Danish will be an advantage. The position will be located in Denmark or Sweden.
