For our Equipment Management Department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a technical writer to join our highly skilled team. The department is responsible for equipment used to transport, installation and maintenance of wind turbines. As a technical writer you will be part of the Documentation Team in Equipment Management, who has the responsibility to create and update work instructions for the mentioned equipment. It is to be expected that there will be approximately 30 travel days (in Denmark) a year. What are my responsibilities? · Create and update existing work instructions for transport, installation and service equipment used by Technicians · Ensure reviews from a technical and safety perspective are considered when releasing work instructions. · Participate in on-site tests to document the use and cover the work-process for the specific equipment in use · Participate in development project meetings as needed · Review of new and external created work instruction · Prepare documentation for ECM process review What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold experience in writing and managing technical documentation is a key requirement. It is of utmost importance that you are used to working closely with field technicians and design engineers and using their knowledge and experience as the primary input when creating work instructions. · You have proven experience in driving the implementation of new work procedures and systems · You are an outgoing, proactive person who is able to structure the work assignments and is capable of multi-tasking. · You understand the importance of adhering to safe work practices whilst producing good quality and precise work instructions. · You are well-versed in the terminology of IT applications like PLM systems. Specific experience with Team Center. · You hold substantial experience in creating work instructions. · You are a skilled user of MS Office and you are fluent in English orally as well as in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
