This role is designed for those who are interested in progressing their careers in Technical Writing or other areas of the Sitecore business. 

The Documentation team at Sitecore is looking for a technical writer to join us at our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Position Summary:

If you have a knack for writing clear concise technical documentation, and you want to work in a collaborative and innovative international team, this could be the perfect role for you!

You’ll focus on creating content for administrators (IT Pros), so it’s useful if you have experience of writing that kind of content, and/or of working on system admin tasks, such as installing, upgrading and maintaining complex systems.

You will work closely with our product managers and developers in Copenhagen and other locations, to produce high quality technical documentation that meets international standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with numerous SMEs to gather input for documentation about the Sitecore platform.
• Write clear and comprehensive documentation about scaling, architecture, data processes, and other cross-platform information.
• Maintain and update our existing range of technical documentation.
• Use community feedback to prioritize and improve our documentation.

Job Qualifications:

• 4+ years as a technical writer, with experience of writing for IT Pros. Or, experience working as a system administrator and an aptitude for writing clear concise technical information.
• Either a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, and excellent writing skills in English, or a Bachelor's degree in English or technical writing, and experience of documenting and / or working with software at a technical level.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and communicate their inherent complexities in a simple, straightforward fashion.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• A passion for technology and for creating high quality documentation that meets the needs of the customers.
• A structured and independent approach to completing your assignments, with attention to detail.
• Experience in PowerShell or other scripting languages is preferred.
