Can you identify mechanical materials and process technologies for our future production and applications? And would it appeal to you to set the direction in defining our future process technology development for valves and sensors? Then you may be our new Technology Manager we are looking for in Danfoss Residential Heating (RH), Supply Chain. With reference to the Technical Director in Supply Chain, you will have a central role in product cost down activities, new product introduction, and technology planning in RH Supply Chain along with Global Process &Technology, R&D, and the management team. Business development in a productive environment As Technology Manager your primary focus will be identifying new emerging technologies and new ways to use existing materials/processes, constantly seeking to sustainably increase value creation in the supply chain. You challenge management in future direction-setting on an ongoing basis and also identify short run optimisation opportunities. From the beginning you will play a central part in creating a new strategy for our production of brass based valves – searching new material and technology alternatives, consequence-mapping business effect on production/applications, and coordinating project activities in forward task execution. Our mission is to convert technology search into processes in our production, and increase the innovation rate in production and applications. As such, you will be the key player we rely on to further develop Residential Heating production units, which involves; •Technology search •Technology projects •Product cost down •Project Management •Business case creation •Strategy planning •Make or Buy analysis Business oriented engineer driven by innovation and ambition As a minimum you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, product innovation, or similar, and you have a strong understanding of business creation in a global industrial supply chain. Furthermore, experience with project management is a must. Your personal drive in process innovation is crucial; you strive to make changes and you are result driven. Working in an innovative environment motivates you, and communication and cooperation are among your major strengths. You have a make it happen attitude no matter the complexity of the task. Additionally, you are able to work and navigate independently in a large and complex organisation - creating the network necessary for your tasks.
