We are looking for passionate IoT (Intenet Of Things) Intelligent Edge technical sales professional with a diverse set of skills and industry experience to join our diverse and global team. This exciting role can be based anywhere within the EMEA region it covers. 

 

We are deeply committed to our mission of helping accelerate Microsoft Partners to build industry-leading IoT Solutions. Our team is proficient in understanding our partners' technical needs and develop with them a mutually beneficial business value.


You will work with our community of technical sales engineers to engage and build deep relationships with your customers, accelerating and enabling their end-to-end IoT solution creation and deployment, powered by Microsoft, 3rd-party and open-source technologies.


You will join a team with an ambitious vision to transform and enable to world of IoT, making it more secure, more accessible and empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, by leveraging the Microsoft IoT device ecosystem across a wide set of IoT verticals.

Responsibilities

Our success is measured by bringing Microsoft IoT solutions to market with our Partners, and their satisfaction with the Microsoft IoT platform, to realize license revenue growth and accelerate Azure services consumption:

 

  • Act as the technical sales specialist for Windows 10 IoT, Azure IoT Edge devices on Windows and Open-Source, Azure Sphere and all products around the Azure connected Intelligent Edge
  • Develop effective relationships with Microsoft partners, such as Original Equipment Manufacturer, Original Design Manufacturer, Systems Integrator and Independent Hardware Vendor partners
  • Develop expertise in key Commercial IoT markets, such as Industrial Automation and Manufacturing, Healthcare, Smart Buildings, Smart Retail, Security and Surveillance, transportation and Energy
  • Engage at a deep technical level across our partner’s organization, from developer to CxO
  • Act as the interface between your partners and Microsoft product groups, and other Microsoft Field and Services groups
  • Develop a strategic engagement with core Microsoft IoT accounts, in close partnership with our Azure IoT technical sales specialists

Qualifications

  • Experience in IoT market in a technical or technical sales capacity is a great advantage, including an understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
  • Experience in project management, feature definition and design and feasibility assessment
  • Strong technical and pre-sales expertise, covering some of those areas:

 

- Design board level, and embedded design

- Embedded C programming

- Windows System level 

- Windows Programming 

- IoT system security, authentication and device management

- Azure IoT Reference architecture

- Systems architecture and end-user experience

- Wireless area network connectivity and security

- Embedded Electronic and Silicon market and design experience
