The purpose of the Technology M&A and Transformation team is to own and drive the tech-enabled transformation at Nets. Our focus in 2019 is to: step-change our technology strategy to be an industry-leading technology and product engineering function; improve time-to-market through our agile transformation; transform portfolio management from a project to a product focus; and to build our ability to drive commercially aware tech due-diligence and post-acquisition integration of M&A.
The M&A and Transformation team is hiring a Senior Strategy and Insights Analyst who will help us with four kinds of thing.
You will:
- Articulate and communicate progress, by working in a new central team that sits across all enterprise-wise technology operational, engineering and transformation teams
- Have a deep focus on the internal mechanics of the Nordic’s market-leading payments company
- Improve, or create new management practices, reporting and insight, as part of an ambitious European growth agenda and evolving operating model
- Apply an ability to problem-solve, analyse, and synthesise to help kick-start new projects, new teams and new capabilities
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the synthesis and packaging for presentation to the Board and top level senior executives
- Reviewing the effectiveness of existing reporting practices, leading process improvement or creating new processes, practices and consolidated insight
- Adhering to principles that maximise value, minimise overhead and encourage new thinking
- Supporting the wider M&A and Transformation team with analysis across strategic themes or new packages of work as they arise
- Creating models and presentations across a broad range of problems to help scenario-plan our responses
- Organising and running any forums, workshops or steering committees, and manage the logistics, actions and follow-up.

Your professional qualifications and background should include:
- educated to degree-level
- experienced, with at least 2 years in a management consultancy, or similar in-house role in industry
- proactive and confident
- able to play back your understanding, but not shy to ask for further clarification
- able to build and maintain relationships with a large number of stakeholder groups
- able to formulate clear problem statements and logical work packages to answer them
- adept at dealing with complex problems, simplifying them to the essence of the solution
- able to lead workshops, facilitating multiple personalities with different goals to a common outcome
- developing your already proven leadership and influencing skills able to credibly and compellingly present your findings and analysis to senior leaders.
Of your personal qualifications we would value:
- A high attention to detail
- Strong MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) but open-minded to learn and explore new tools
- Desirable, but not essential, experience with enterprise workflow tools such as SAP, Clarity, Salesforce, Business Objects
- A curious mind, always seeking new information and new skills
- An ability to make things happen, when others are still contemplating the problem
- A calm resilience when in difficult situations
- A passion for your work and the people you work with
- An ability to give open and direct feedback, both positive and negative.
