For our Tooling department within Manufacturing Equipment in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a pro-active and outgoing Tool Developer. The department provides inbound transport solutions in terms of inbound transport equipment and packaging specifications for components arriving at nacelle production plants worldwide. As a Tool Developer you will be responsible for ensuring on time deliveries of equipment and specifications. You will be working closely together with internal departments such as Procurement, Logistics, Production, Engineering and Quality as well as external suppliers worldwide. What are my responsibilities? · Defining and implementing inbound transport solutions for running productions and in connection with the establishment of new plants and product technology transfers. · Specifying and implementing packaging specifications for inbound components to ensure delivery, quality and safety. · Developing and sourcing of transport equipment and required help tools. · Verifying design concepts and production basis from suppliers to ensure that forms, fittings, functions, qualities and safety meet standards and legislation. · Shop floor support in the upstart phase of productions. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a background in engineering, e.g. logistics, production, mechanical, combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience. · You have strong technical/mechanical skills and knowhow. · You are experienced in 3D and 2D design, calculations and quality checks. · Preferably you have experience with packaging and delivery specifications. · As a person you are proactive, persistent and self-driven and you thrive in an environment where you control the development from the need has been identified until the final solution has been implemented. · You have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing - German and Danish skills will be an advantage. · You are willing to travel a few days per year if necessary. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
