For our Global Tooling department we are looking for a pro-active and outgoing Tool Developer. The department provides the production areas with the needed tools and equipment to assemble nacelles worldwide in connection with new plants establishments and larger product transfers. As a Tool Developer you will be part of larger project groups and responsible for ensuring on time deliveries of tools and equipment in the right quality. You will be working closely together with internal departments such as Production, Technology, Procurement and Quality as well as external suppliers worldwide. What are my responsibilities? · Defining tools and equipment for establishment of new plants and product technology transfers. · Developing, designing and implementing production tools and equipment. · Keep track of project deliverables and budget. · Quotation and order placement of tools and equipment. · Verifying design concepts and production basis from suppliers to ensure that forms, fittings, functions, qualities and safety meet standards and legislation. · Shop floor support in the installation and start of production phase. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a background within engineering, e.g. construction, production, mechanical etc., combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience. · You have strong technical/mechanical skills and knowhow. · You are experienced in 3D and 2D design, calculations and quality checks. · Excellent English skills, both orally and in writing - German and Danish skills will be an advantage. · Willing to travel 2-4 weeks per year if necessary. · As a person you are proactive, persistent and self-driven and you thrive in an environment where you control the development from the need has been identified until the final solution has been implemented.
