Are you a creative and innovative team player, and do you want to work with the latest technology as you help develop tools, prototypes and designs for manufacturing? Join R&D Moulding and develop tools and designs As Toolmaker / Constructor at the R&D Moulding Department, you work with designs, development of prototypes, tool construction as well as manufacturing, optimising and implementing tools. We are the vital link between production and product development, and you will be working on long-term projects lasting between 1 and 5 years. More specifically, your tasks will be to: Support all phases of tool construction - from initial idea to finished solution Develop and mature elements as well as be in charge of part design and construction Produce parts for tools using the newest CAD/CAM IT tools Implement moulds and prepare them for testing Help establish collaboration across department and divisional lines as well as participate in reviews, kick-off-meetings, brainstorming sessions and help document our processes so we continuously improve our work procedures Everyday creativity The LEGO Group's overall mission is to motivate and engage children to be creative. Creative toolmaker or constructor with strong collaboration skills You are a trained toolmaker or constructor - preferably with experience from a production environment. However, we value talent more than years of experience You can document your results within the field and you may have additional training as a mechanical engineer or technician Strong collaboration and communication skills are required, and you are structured and detail oriented in everything you do You are creative and have ideas and visions you want to see come to life.
