Application date Sunday, June 26, 2016 - 23:59 Location Lyngby, Denmark Group Treasury is looking for a highly motivated and service minded Trade Finance Specialist to handle and execute letters of credit and international bank guarantees. The team consists of 6 people, and work in an international and informal atmosphere. We are now offering a challenging position in a large-sized, internationally oriented company with an exciting and ambitious business atmosphere. You will be working in close collaboration with colleagues in Treasury, Sales, Legal, Project Management and Logistics as well as with colleagues in our units abroad. The job •Receiving, reviewing and registration of export letters of credit •Dialogue with colleagues, customers and banks to ensure that the trade finance portfolio is optimally structured •Checking and forwarding of L/C documents prepared by our Logistics, and follow-up on settlement of payments •Issuing and handling of bank guarantees related to our export contracts •Drafting and commenting on L/C and bank guarantee wordings, and advising on payment terms/securities in export contracts •Advisory and consulting; internally towards Sales, Legal, Project Management and Logistics and externally towards customers and banks •Ad hoc tasks. You •Self-driven, proactive, reliable, able to set priorities •Strong focus on execution – quality in solution and data •Good interpersonal skills – straight forward communicator •Possess a business mind-set •Good analytical mind •Able to overlook and manage multiple ongoing activities •Meet deadlines – deliver services in peak situations. Qualifications You must possess a strong understanding and insight into international trade finance preferably with 5+ years hands-on experience from a bank and/or from operational finance departments in other large sized companies with international operations. You have solid experience within the trade finance products and services including letters of credit and international guarantees. You are fluent in business English.
