The successful candidate will take part in the development of next generation optical transceivers for high-speed networks. The candidate’s tasks will include electrical specification of transceiver boards, schematic design, component selection and characterization, layout considerations and implementation. Qualifications: •B.Sc/M. Sc. in electrical engineering, or equivalent •3+ years experience with electronic circuit design •Experience with high-frequency (20+ GHz) design •Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) an advantage •Experience with µ-controllers and memory map implementation •Experience with packaging an advantage •Experience with thermal management an advantage •Basic knowledge of optoelectronic components an advantage •Strong product mindset: Ability to own and drive transceiver development project •Fluent in English •Good personal skills
