For our Onshore Logistics department we are looking for a Transport Manager who will be responsible for the coordination of transport projects in the Northern region. As a Transport Manager, you will be working with our Project Management organization, executing onshore based Wind Turbine projects. You will be participating in negotiations with forwarders, planning and executing of transport flow of main components and associated groupage transports. What are my responsibilities? Contributing to the execution of transport projects including ocean freight and oversized components as well as the organization and execution of trial runs and site inspections Following up on return cargo and transport equipment from different sites in cooperation with the regional offices overseas and the Transport Equipment team Handling claims Handling orders in SAP Various ad hoc tasks What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a freight forwarding education and minimum 2 years of experience in the area of logistics and/or transportation which you have gained within the wind or ocean freight industry Experience within vessel management and the handling of international heavy load transports is an advantage Familiarity with contract and claim management is an advantage As a person, you are proactive and you are able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. You thrive in an international environment and are a dedicated team player You are an experienced user of SAP and Microsoft Office You possess advanced English skills both orally and in writing while Danish is an advantage In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
