For our EMEA Onshore North department at our office in Ikast, Denmark, we are looking for a Transport Manager who will be responsible for the coordination of transports to projects in the North region. What are my responsibilities? As a Transport Manager you will contribute to the planning and execution of transport projects to various destinations belonging to the Northern Market. More specifically, your assignments will cover: · Contributing to the execution of project transports including ocean freight and transport of oversized components as well as the organization and execution of trial runs and site inspections. · Following up on return cargo and transport equipment from different sites in cooperation with the regional offices overseas and the Transport Equipment team. · Handling claims. · Handling orders in SAP. · Various ad hoc tasks. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a freight forwarding education and minimum 2 years of experience in the area of logistics and/or transportation which you have gained within the wind or ocean freight business. · In your former position it is beneficial if you have gained experience in vessel management and the handling of international heavy load transports. · You must be familiar with contract and claim management. · As a person, you are proactive and you are able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. · You thrive in an international environment and are a dedicated team player. · Additionally, you have experience using SAP and Microsoft Office, and you possess advanced English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
