Job ID: 236394 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time For our Market Unit Offshore – Transport Management department located in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a flexible and dedicated Transport Manager to plan and execute transportation of wind turbine components from various production facilities in Denmark to our different locations in Denmark, such as our pre-assembly site at the port of Esbjerg and Ports of export. What are my responsibilities? Planning the flow of components and the execution with our internal supplier Planning utilisation of transport equipment and placing the order via our internal supplier Handling the commercial aspect with our Business Controller (budgeting, forecasting and monitoring) Supporting claim management according to relevant processes Handling the return of transport equipment and other return goods from pre-assembly sites Ensuring that lessons learned are documented and implemented for future projects Calculating transport indications for sales related projects You should be able to work out of Esbjerg (and other locations within Denmark and potentially outside Denmark) from time to time in order to be close to the operationstions. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a freight forwarding education and minimum 2 years of experience in the area of logistics and/or transportation which you have gained within the wind or freight forwarding industry Familiarity with contract and claim management is an advantage As a person, you are outgoing, proactive and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. You thrive in an international environment and are a dedicated team player You are an experienced user of SAP and Microsoft Office You possess advanced English skills both orally and in writing while Danish is an advantage In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
