Does it motivate you to work closely with colleagues in many different functional areas? We are looking for a Transport Validation Expert in Shipping & Customer Service (S&CS). Reporting to the Director of S&CS, you can look forward to a key role where you will define the future model for transport validation principles globally and act as Process Group Responsible for transportation processes. About the department The department S&CS is a part of Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S), one of the six senior management divisions within Novo Nordisk’s manufacturing organisation Product Supply (PS). D&S employs 1.700 employees in Denmark, Russia and Japan and is responsible for devices and the supply chain management across PS. This includes bringing new devices from R&D into production and to launch. S&CS is working in an international and customer focused organisation to secure fast and reliable global import/export in compliance with relevant requirements for Novo Nordisk and our customers. Our most important objective is to secure delivery of Novo Nordisk products – in the right quality and at competitive prices – to our affiliates and direct customers around the world. The job As Transport Validation Expert, you will be responsible for developing solutions for compliant transport validation globally, in a complex and highly-regulated pharmaceutical environment building on existing modular setup for finished products. You will set the direction for transport validation principles for GxP materials for intra site activities and will be doing this together with our internal team of Validation Partners and Project Managers as well as key stakeholders from productions sites, Manufacturing Development, External Affairs, Corporate & Product Supply Quality, Supply Chain Planning Quality, Affiliates and Regulatory Affairs. In addition, you will be the Process Group Responsible (PGR) for 2 transport related processes where you will secure implementation of compliance signals, participate in other quality activities that are assigned to the Process Group, drive process alignment with the Quality Management System (QMS), maintain and develop the Process Group, establish activity plan for the Process Group with priorities from the Process Owner. Qualifications To succeed as Transport Validation Expert, you need to have a high quality mind-set and solid analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to evaluate problems, creating overall plans for resolutions while having a focus on the details. Additionally, we expect you to have excellent communication skills in English. The ability to operate independently and cooperate with other functions is also a must in order to succeed in the position. You have a relevant educational background preferably within Engineering at a Masters’ Degree level and insights to pharmaceutical cold chain validation requirement. Preferably, you have developed a strong understanding of GxPs and have experience working with transportation validation or validation projects in a GxP environment.
