Technology & Service Solutions / Rotor, Tower & Control / Loads & Control / Control Platform Solutions Vestas Technology & Service Solutions is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved and tested. To put it short, we are shaping the future of modern energy and we operate on a global scale with more than 1,300 employees. As a part of Vestas Technology & Service Solutions, the Control Platform Solution department is responsible for adaptations of generic operation strategy, turbine production control to the individual platforms and products, control investigations in early stage feasibility studies and support and maintenance to existing products. Currently, the department consists of 17 highly skilled and motivated engineers situated in Denmark and India. Responsibilities: Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for: Model based control development Controller tuning and optimization Mechanical modeling Control performance data analysis Prototype turbine testing Qualifications: The right candidate can either be an engineer with several years of experience or a relatively newly graduated engineer. Furthermore it is important that you have: A Master degree in Control Engineering or similar Knowledge of dynamic mechanical systems Hands-on experience with product or technology development Experience with Matlab/Simulink You might have: Experience with Matlab embedded code Experience with Scripting in Matlab Experience with C, C++ and C# Knowledge of Python scripting Competencies: You are pro-active, result oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility You are able to meet your deadlines with the right quality You have a creative approach to new challenges You thrive with varied tasks and constant changes from day to day You succeed as part of a team and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge You have good communication skills as you must be able to work within an international team Excellent language skills (speaking and writing) in English required What we offer: We offer an opportunity to be part of a strong team in an exciting business with very comprehensive product range.
