Our Software Department consists of innovative and skilled engineers striving to understand, challenge, and optimize existing solutions. We develop and maintain control systems for wind turbines at various sizes from 650kW to 6.5MW. This covers new development, retrofit and optimization of existing control systems. We are working in an agile development environment using e.g. Scrum. Responsibilities As Turbine Control and Optimization Engineer, you will be a main driver in developing, verifying, and optimizing wind turbine power and load optimization algorithms, and by that shaping KK Wind Solutions wind turbine control applications of tomorrow. Your tasks will, among others, be: ?Perform wind turbine simulations (Simulink and aeroelastic simulations) ?Verify and optimize algorithms on operational wind turbines ?Implement, test and release turbine control software ?Perform root cause analysis and general data analysis of operational data to find possible improvements in wind turbine control and monitoring systems ?Document test and findings in a clear language for a specific reader group ?Make requirement and delivery specification based on customer requirement ?Provide support to customers for delivered solutions Your profile You are passionate and creatively thinking and is motivated by optimizing turbine control systems. We expect you to have a theoretical background, which you are able to use in your daily work to solve practical problems and keep delivering the best solutions to our customers.
